Dunboyne-based Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers has expanded into Monaghan as part of a five-year growth plan.
“This is an exciting time for Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers,” said director Shane Wilson (pictured) in an emailed release. “We are keen to offer people and businesses in Monaghan, Cavan, Louth, Meath, and surrounding counties our expert advice.
“Having an office at the heart of the community is intrinsic to our business as we understand how much both having access and face-to-face expertise is valued by our customers. This is a challenging time for many, so knowing you have experienced professionals on your doorstep whose guidance you can trust is really important.”
Located in M:TEK Enterprise Park, the company’s second office will initially be manned by 10 people. Over the next 12 months, the brokerage is looking to onboard an additional 10 colleagues, with the staff count there projected to reach at least 35. In Dunboyne, the target roster size is 20 employees.
According to Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers, the Monaghan addition is the first part of what were described as ambitious plans for expansion.
“Over the next five years we plan to extend our presence across the region both through organic growth and the acquisition of other insurance businesses, targeting companies with trusted reputations and values that align with our own,” said Wilson (of Wilson Insurance Brokers), who co-owns the firm with Dickson & Co Insurance Brokers’ Ashley and Ruth Dickson.
He added: “Our business has a skilled and highly experienced team of brokers with extensive experience and knowledge of the insurance market. However, we want to build on this, and we want the best of local talent to join our teams, professionals whose insights into the community will help us deliver a great service and help cement our reputation for value, integrity, and quality of service.”
Formed in 2019 following the acquisition of Gunn Robinson Insurance Brokers, Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers offers personal, business, and farm insurance.
