As per the official announcement, this agreement positions Preferred as part of a broader panel of suppliers for DAS UK.
DAS UK noted that Preferred was awarded the contract based on its expertise in home emergency services and its focus on digitally-led, customer-centric solutions, which were developed in-house.
Cheralyn Perry, head of claims supply chain for DAS UK, stated that Preferred’s culture and emphasis on digitalising the customer journey aligns with DAS's goals. Perry expressed anticipation of a productive collaboration in the years ahead.
Tony Morrison (pictured above), CEO of Preferred Management Solutions, also expressed satisfaction with being selected for the contract. He noted the company’s eagerness to work with DAS UK to deliver innovative, customer-focused services and to establish a market-leading partnership.
ARAG plc, the parent company of DAS UK, is part of the global ARAG Group, the largest family-owned enterprise in the German insurance sector.
Established in 1935, ARAG now operates in 19 countries with over 5,000 employees and generates revenue and premium income exceeding €2.4 billion.
DAS UK, meanwhile, provides a range of insurance and assistance add-on products, catering to homeowners, motorists, small businesses, affinity groups, and landlords. Through its law firm, DAS Law, the company also offers customers access to legal advice and representation.
Last month, legal expenses insurer ARAG UK also announced the appointment of Alan Jappy as head of new business for corporate partnerships.
