Global claims management services provider Cunningham Lindsey has strengthened its specialist agricultural and rural network (ARN) team with the addition of Maxwell Perris.
Though he is a neophyte in the insurance industry, Perris has more than 10 years of practical, hands-on agricultural experience in arable, dairy, beef and pig farming.
Before joining Cunningham Lindsey, Perris managed a 350-strong pedigree dairy herd in Yorkshire. He also worked on large farms and a horseracing yard in France.
Perris holds a degree in dairy-based agricultural management and in agricultural mechanics.
“Industry-relevant skills and experience are particularly important in this highly specialised area of claims work,” said Glyn Brookes-Humphrey, national operations manager of Cunningham Lindsey’s ARN team.
“Max is highly qualified in this respect and, while based in our Leeds office, his expertise will be an excellent addition to our ARN team, nationally,” he added.
