Crawford & Company’s UK & Ireland president Lisa Bartlett (pictured), who has held her current position for four years now, has been promoted to chief operating officer of the Atlanta-based firm’s international operations.
Effective next month, the appointment will see Bartlett take on a dual role in which she will continue to be in charge of the UK and Ireland while serving as international COO at the claims management giant. As part of her wider remit, Bartlett will be working closely with international operations chief executive Andrew Bart.
“I am thrilled to have this opportunity, and I look forward to collaborating with colleagues across Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and the UK to bring the best of Crawford together for our clients, our people, and to deliver on our purpose to restore lives, businesses, and communities,” Bartlett, who will be speaking at the Women in Insurance Summit in London, said in an emailed release.
Meanwhile Bart had nothing but nice words for the elevated leader.
“I have worked closely with Lisa for the past three years, and her success in leading the UK is built on her laser focus on doing the right thing for all our clients and bringing the best of Crawford together to meet their needs,” he commented. “That focus will help us to facilitate profitable growth and pursue new innovations to enhance service excellence.
“Lisa brings to this role her deep insight to our clients’ needs and exceptional leadership qualities, having repeatedly built high-performing teams across Crawford. As we look to build on Crawford’s success in the UK and across our international operations, Lisa’s experience and leadership will be invaluable.”
