Crawford & Company has announced the acquisition of three Spanish loss adjusting businesses—Cortes y Botella, Tecse, and Inarges. A news release highlighted that this move significantly bolsters Crawford’s presence in Spain, increasing its local footprint by 80% and enhancing its capabilities in sectors such as healthcare, construction, energy, and cyber.
The expansion adds three new offices in Seville, Zaragoza, and Bilbao to Crawford’s existing locations in Valencia and Alicante, which were launched earlier this year. Crawford’s Spanish operations now span six regional branches: North, Catalonia, Aragon-Navarre, Central, Levante, and South, with a total of nine offices across the country.
“We are very proud to announce one of Crawford’s most ambitious corporate transactions at the European level. This underscores the importance of Spain as a strategic territory in our European operation,” said Gonzalo Esteban, Crawford’s Southern Europe director. “By increasing our presence throughout the country, we are able to enhance our responsiveness and become even more agile and efficient.”
“I am delighted to welcome colleagues from Cortes y Botella, Tecse, and Inarges as they have exceptional teams who are highly regarded both for their deep and eminent expertise alongside their steadfast commitment to exceptional customer service,” added Niels de Kock, president of Crawford’s Europe and Middle East operations. “Additions such as this help bolster our on-the-ground presence, boost our responsiveness when the worst happens and support our purpose to restore lives, businesses and communities.”
