Managing general agent CPP Group UK has entered into a new partnership with National Pharmacy Association Insurance (NPAI) to run the claims and 24/7 emergency helpline service for the latter’s newest insurance offering, PharmaKey.
NPAI’s new PharmaKey insurance policy covers the locks and lost keys of pharmacy business premises. Through the new partnership, NPAI will underwrite PharmaKey, while CPP handles the processing and fulfilment of key replacement claims.
The insurance product is an inclusive benefit to members of the National Pharmacy Association (NPA). As part of the partnership deal, CPP will provide each business premise with two branded, durable fobs that can be attached to keys. CPP will also provide each member a reward-incentivised repatriation service and insurance cover – which is backed by a 24/7 emergency hotline – to pay for a locksmith.
“Pharmacies are a local lifeline for many, and the fact that they are at the forefront of providing healthcare in their communities demonstrates just how critical they are to the nation’s health,” said CPP Group UK CEO Carl Carter. “These businesses are looking now more than ever to maximise their operational efficiency and minimise unnecessary stress or downtime – our 24/7 reliable helpline and claims support can help to provide that extra layer of reassurance.”
“We are always looking for ways to support our members and to help them manage their risk,” added NPAI managing director Paul Coleman. “CPP has created a first-class proposition specifically for our pharmacists, enabling them to get back up and running securely and to continue to provide their patients with essential healthcare services.”
