Covéa Insurance has appointed two new regional managers to strengthen the Midlands and Northern branches of its business.
David Aslin will lead the insurer’s Midlands arm, which covers its Birmingham and Bristol offices. Previously he worked at
Arista Insurance as regional director for the South West and Wales. David Brown comes to Covéa from
Zurich Insurance where he was head of broker market in Scotland. He is now regional manager of Covéa’s Northern Branch offices in Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester.
Aslin and Brown complete Covéa’s new regional leadership team. At the end of 2015 Lee Venamore was promoted from within the organisation to lead Covéa’s Chelmsford, Reading and West Malling branches.
Covéa’s director of regional operations Keith Hector said Aslin, Brown and Venamore will lead the next stage of development for the company.
“These appointments support our strong, stable regional proposition to brokers and will help us to continue to capitalise on opportunities for mutual growth with our regional brokers, particularly in the commercial and high net worth product lines where we have a number of significant developments in the pipeline.”
There have been other significant personnel changes at Covéa Insurance recently. In April,
Carol Geldard was appointed to the role of personal lines director effective June 2016.
