Allianz Legal Protection (ALP) and Collinson have become underwriting partners of insurance distribution and claims provider Coplus.
The Norwich-based business announced that ALP will underwrite motor, family, landlord, and commercial legal expenses lines for Coplus, while Collinson will underwrite assistance products such as excess protection, home emergency, key cover, and breakdown assistance.
“I’m delighted to be working with Allianz and Collinson,” said Coplus managing director Jason Tripp (pictured), whose camp believes the new deals will put the firm in a stronger position.
“In these organisations, we have two expert underwriting partners to help us and our insurance distribution partners continue to provide excellent value for policyholders.”
Coplus, which has operated in the legal expenses market for over three decades, currently protects more than 2.5 million customers.
