Tom Bolstridge (pictured), who previously served as regional trading underwriting manager at Arista, is joining expanding MGA Commercial Express.
On May 01, Bolstridge will assume the role of technical underwriting manager. Commercial Express said he is coming onboard at a time of significant growth and investment at the Brierley Hill-headquartered firm.
“Taking this position during a stage of substantial development and expansion is a wonderful opportunity,” commented Bolstridge. “The chance to manage a large and successful book of business with an ethos around IT and which understands the business needs and vision of our agents while complementing it with a service that is second to none was too great to ignore.”
The key hire brings with him more than 17 years of insurance industry experience, including time spent at AIG.
“Our primary goal is to continue to deliver a breadth of products to the market that are consistently excellent in quality, relevant, and innovative,” he added. “Statistical analysis is a key factor on my agenda so that we can be as agile and as responsive as possible to the needs of the insurance market, all of our agents, and also our carriers.”
