Global law firm Clyde & Co has named Louise Jackson (pictured) as the newest partner at its Manchester office.
Jackson, an experienced defendant clinical negligence practitioner, began her career at Browne Jacobson, where she started working in 2015 and was made partner last year. Her areas of expertise include defending primary care practitioners and private clinicians, defending clinical negligence matters for NHS resolution, as well as the dental sector and representing dentists. The range of high-profile clients she has advised includes the Medical Protection Society.
“Our healthcare team has seen significant growth recently and Louise’s appointment allows us to provide expert response to this increased client demand,” said Clyde & Co head of healthcare Claire Petts. “Her addition to our healthcare team in Manchester not only enhances our capabilities in the North West but across our entire UK network too.”
Jackson remarked that Clyde & Co’s reputation was a key factor driving her joining the global law firm.
“I want to work with the best lawyers and support staff and for the best clients,” Jackson said. “The opportunity to be part of this team which is growing exponentially is exciting and I look forward to being part of its future.”
Clyde & Co offers a full range of legal services covering public and private sectors in the UK and around the globe. In the UK alone, the global law firm operates through 14 offices in Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Derry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guildford, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, and Southampton.
