“It is always satisfying for your achievements to be recognised.”
These were the words of Citynet Insurance Brokers chief executive Richard Scott when the London Market specialist made it to this year’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain report by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).
The annual report, now in its fifth edition, recognises what LSEG described as the most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK and Europe. To be considered among the fastest-growing SMEs, Citynet said it had to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years.
The LSEG resource cited the financial services sector as having an average annual revenue growth rate of more than 461% – outdoing the likes of engineering & construction, with 109%.
“Our success is as a result of all the hard work our conscientious staff have and continue to put in,” said Scott. “All of us at Citynet care deeply about servicing our brokers and it is this passion and commitment which has fuelled our growth in recent years.”
The wholesale Lloyd’s broker, which called the recognition “a real honour,” supplies exclusive schemes and market-leading services to insurance intermediaries throughout the UK and Ireland.
“I am delighted to congratulate Richard Scott on the success of his company,” said London Stock Exchange Plc chief executive Nikhil Rathi.
