Citynet Insurance Brokers has appointed industry veteran Graham Hewitt (pictured) as account executive for the wholesale broker’s newly created entertainment and leisure unit.
A former senior broker/account executive at Riva Insurance Brokers, Hewitt will be in charge of developing Citynet’s new facility for its growing base of UK and Irish brokers. The key hire brings with him more than 35 years of experience, having also held senior positions at
Towergate and Stafford Knight.
“I am absolutely delighted to be taking this role and look forward to be working within a very fast and pro-active insurance broker,” commented Hewitt.
The independent Lloyd’s broker – whose covers include property, liability, professional indemnity, and motor fleet – has been ramping up, recently
bolstering its real estate team with the appointment of Carl Salt as division head.
“It is very rare these days for an individual of Graham’s calibre to come on to the market, and we are naturally delighted to have secured his services,” commented Citynet chief executive Richard Scott. “I am positive that Graham will prove to be a great addition to our expanding team of producers.”
