Stephen Breen (pictured), who has more than three decades of experience from both underwriting and broking, is the latest addition to Citynet’s management team.
The industry veteran has come onboard as business operations manager, reporting directly to the board of the Lloyd’s broker. Breen is in charge of leading the account handler and technician teams at Citynet.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Citynet and am looking forward to working with this growing business,” commented the seasoned executive, who was most recently with Marsh Ltd. “The skills and experience I bring will enable me to help the dynamic, driven, and successful team evolve and achieve operational excellence, for the benefit of our highly valued client base and underwriters.

Breen’s experience includes time spent at Lloyd’s syndicates and XL Catlin, as well as working with the Lloyd’s Market Association.
“We have asked Steve to review all our processes on open market and binder placements in order to enhance the service provided to our customers and underwriters,” said Citynet chief executive Richard Scott. “His change management skills will be invaluable for helping to further enhance our systems and controls across all our departments.”
