Major insurer Chubb has today revealed a host of changes to its leadership team across Europe.
Stepping up is Nadia Côté (pictured above), who takes the role of head of the major accounts division for Europe. She moves on from her position as country president for France, succeeding Suresh Krishnan who will take over the role of COO for Chubb North America’s accident and health division. The move, according to a company release, will see Côté move to London and report to Adam Clifford, the division president for continental Europe and Sara Mitchell, the division president for the UK and Ireland retail business. She will implement business strategy for the major accounts division and be responsible for global broker relationships and global networks outside North America.
In line with Côté’s promotion, Veronique Brionne (pictured below) will take the role of country president for France, moving on from her position as director of accident and health for continental Europe. She will take charge of property and casualty, consumer lines and accident and health across the country and will be based in Paris, reporting to Clifford. The move remains subject to regulatory approval.
Meanwhile, the director of accident and health continental Europe role goes to Florian Eisele, the country president for Switzerland. He will be based in Zurich, reporting to Clifford, and steering Chubb’s A&H business across the region.
“I am delighted to announce these significant new appointments. Nadia Côté, Veronique Brionne and Florian Eisele each bring a wealth of experience to their respective roles and have a track record of demonstrating strong leadership and delivering success for the businesses under their responsibility,” said David Furby, senior vice president of the Chubb Group and regional president of the European group. “I look forward to working with them all in their new capacities as we drive Chubb to further growth in revenue and earnings across Europe in 2020.
“I would also like to thank Suresh Krishnan for his dedication to developing and implementing Chubb’s major accounts proposition in Europe which has seen the division grow significantly under his leadership.”
All of the appointments are set to become effective on March 01, with Eisele retaining his role as country president of Switzerland until a replacement is named.
