Brokers looking to quote and bind for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as middle market clients, now have a new option following the launch of Chubb Ignite.
The new online platform is available for brokers and their clients across the UK and Ireland providing a range of services including instant documentation. It is backed by a team of experienced underwriters offering marketing support at the point of sale, as well as online renewal management and a centric approach to client trading.
“About 99% of the UK’s 5.5 million companies have fewer than 250 employees,” said Diane Davidson, head of eBroking for Chubb. “At Chubb we want to give UK and Irish small, medium and middle market businesses the same comprehensive insurance cover and high quality service that bigger companies typically enjoy.
“Chubb Ignite reflects our commitment to invest in the capabilities offered by digital innovation to give brokers and their SME and middle market clients the value-added services they need to grow in confidence and help them save up time and resources.”
There are a host of cross-selling opportunities available on the platform, with two products available. The first is Chubb Elite Plus Management Liability, which protects company directors against regulatory proceedings; while the second is cyber insurance, which provides cover for both first party costs and expenses, as well as third party claims arising around cyber incidents.
