The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), which recently launched the Society of Insurance Broking, has turned over a new leaf on Lombard Street.
Starting today you’ll find the CII on the first floor at 21 Lombard Street, along with the Insurance Institute of London and the Worshipful Company of Insurers who have moved as well.
“We’re moving office today, this means that staff may take longer to respond to emails and phone calls,” the CII tweeted last Friday. “Our customer service team is unaffected and will be operating as usual.”
According to the CII, staff telephone numbers will remain the same.
The new site features a dedicated conference space for up to 50 people, as well as a lounge where members will have access to key resources like periodicals, reference books, and specialist databases.
“Although the library at Aldermanbury is now closed while the print collections are being moved, the Knowledge Services’ online resource bank and the CII eLibrary, containing thousands of downloadable eBooks, journals, reports, and other specialist resources remain available to members around the world via EBSCO Discovery,” noted the CII. “Enquiry/research, copy, and book loan services will resume on October 01.”
