Global broking business Brokerlink has announced the addition of Ardonagh Specialty chief executive Antony Erotocritou to its board of directors.
The move solidifies ties between Ardonagh Specialty and Brokerslink, which already boasts six other Ardonagh businesses in its network, including Price Forbes, Bishopgate, and Inver Re.
Erotocritou has been a key figure within the Ardonagh Group since 2016 when he joined as underwriting finance director. He later assumed the role of group finance director in 2018. Transitioning into the specialty business in 2019, Erotocritou was pivotal in the group’s restructuring and expansion and was named specialty CEO in 2022.
Commenting on Erotocritou’s appointment, Brokerlink president and CEO Jose Manuel Fonseca highlighted the expertise that he brings to the board.
“We are delighted to have Antony Erotocritou represent Ardonagh Specialty on our board,” Fonseca said in an emailed news release. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our network from Ardonagh, but also from a range of industries as well as insurance, including finance and telecommunications.
“I have no doubt he will have a strong voice at the table as we continue to grow and embolden the role we play in bringing mutual benefit and business opportunities to our partners and affiliates around the world.”
In August, Brokerslink announced the addition of 1783 Group, a sports, music, and entertainment contingency broker, to its network.
