Independent brokers network Brokerbility has added Investec Premium Finance as an affiliate partner member under Brokerbility’s new membership programme.

Rolled out at the beginning of the year, the affiliate partner membership programme acknowledges the preferred suppliers within the Brokerbility community, enabling mutually beneficial collaboration between Brokerbility members and partners.

Backed by 15 years of asset finance expertise and three decades of UK banking experience, two-year-old Investec Premium Finance offers financing for both commercial and personal insurance lines. The firm is an inaugural affiliate partner member of Brokerbility.

“Investec Premium Finance is the first of many suppliers to join Brokerbility as an affiliate partner member,” Brokerbility operations director Michelle South said. “This programme is gaining real traction, allowing strategically aligned businesses to collaborate and support our members.

“This forms a key part of our strategy where our progressive and forward-thinking members operate within a collaborative community who encourage each other to grow.”

Brokerbility announced its new membership framework in April 2023, categorising members into five categories: foundation partners, core partners, growth partners, launchpad partners, and affiliate partners.

At the time, managing director John Dunn noted: “Brokerbility membership has always been about being part of a community where members feel valued and heard. So, we have listened to our members and others from across the broking community to uncover what they seek from a network.”

Meanwhile Osian Rees, head of Investec Premium Finance, expressed enthusiasm about their affiliate partner status, saying: “We’re excited to partner with Brokerbility and look forward to developing long-term relationships with its members.

“We offer an alternative funding option, access to our bank-wide facilities, competitive rates, and a frictionless service through our unique combination of technology and dedicated in-person support.

“This allows insurance brokers to process and manage applications on behalf of their clients at pace and supports their ambitions to deliver excellence for their clients.”
