Finch Group has set its sights on becoming a “regional broking powerhouse” after announcing its second acquisition of the year.
Broker Network’s broking partner has acquired independent broker County Insurance Services. County is based in Dorset and is owned and managed by John Austin with a focus on personal lines and a property portfolio.
Speaking about the deal, Vincent Gardner, Finch’s managing director, outlined that the acquisition was not just about growth but also about finding a suitable partner. The firm
snapped up Citymain Insurance Services earlier this year.
“The acquisition of County Insurance Services sits firmly with our strategy of not simply acquiring brokers but making sure they are the right fit for our business,” he said. “Again we have chosen a brokerage that has natural synergies with Finch Group and will complement our existing book of business.
“This second acquisition of 2017 underlines the confidence that Broker Network has in our business as well as highlighting our determination to grow further as a regional broking powerhouse in the South of England.”
