Terry Stanley, who has worked in insurance since the ‘70s, has stepped down from the top post at Broker Direct Plc.
Eleven of the founder director’s 24 years at Broker Direct were spent in his capacity as chief executive. In a brief LinkedIn post, the Bolton-based business announced his retirement and successor.
Promoted to CEO is finance director and fellow founding director Iain Gray, whose credentials include time spent at Preferred Direct Insurance and Insurance Compliance Services.
Set up in 1997, Broker Direct serves as a wholesale broker and third-party administrator specialising in personal lines. The Lloyd’s coverholder has two locations in Bolton collectively manned by around 150 people.
