Specialist insurance broking and risk management advice provider Broadway Insurance Brokers, which came to life during the COVID-19 pandemic, is growing at great speed.
According to the North West broker, its gross written premium more than tripled to £4.5 million over the last 12 months. Meanwhile, the value of corporate and private assets for which it arranges cover amounted to over £1.25 billion – a doubling from the previous period.
“The last year has seen us continue to make progress in all key areas of our operations,” said founder and chief executive Daniel Lloyd-John (pictured), whose business made it to the Spear’s 500 lists in 2021 and 2022.
"We have seen our rosters of both private and commercial clients double, something which is not only due to the reputation which we have established but our ability to consistently do excellent work. That is also reflected in our relationships with other professionals based throughout the North West region and beyond who also advise high-net-worth clients.”
Lloyd-John highlighted that the lion’s share of Broadway’s workload now comes either from referrals or client endorsements. To keep up, the company plans to make senior appointments and develop client services in the near term.
“We will be adding to those capabilities in the very near future as well as refining how we deliver our services to make a real difference to the work and personal lives of our clients,” stated the CEO, who chairs the Greater Manchester regional committee of the British Insurance Brokers’ Association.
