One of the UK’s leading insurance brokers,
Brightside Group, has set its sights on going “from good to great” with a key appointment revealed today.
The firm has announced the arrival of Geoff Hardes in the role of operations director at its Bristol office, reporting to Russell Bence, the firm’s managing director of volume lines.
Hardes is highly thought of having spent close to 20 years at Capita as portfolio director for Capita Customer Management and operations director for the group.

According to Bence, his arrival marks a significant step forward for the company.
“We are delighted that someone of Geoff’s calibre and experience has joined the team,” he said. “His brief is to further improve our operational performance as Brightside continues to transform into a leading digital broker.
“We have made good progress during the past twelve months, but our challenge now is to move from good to great, and Geoff will be pivotal in achieving that aim.”
