Bravo Networks, part of Ardonagh Advisory and the UK’s largest network of independent regional brokers, has named Aviva plc (Aviva) as its new strategic insurer partner across its networks, Broker Network and Compass.
The strategic partnership marks a new chapter for Bravo Networks as it continues to cultivate a strong insurer panel dedicated to helping clients grow in the small and mid-sized enterprise (SME) and mid-market sectors.
Commenting on the strategic partnership, Bravo Networks managing director Scott Bennett said: “We are building on our excellent relationship with Aviva across Compass Network and are delighted to extend this across to Broker Network. Aviva [is] a strong brand with a solid standing in the industry. We are pleased to partner with Aviva and offer our ever-increasing members more exciting opportunities to accelerate their growth in a profitable way.”
Aviva chief distribution officer Gareth Hemming said the deal with Bravo Networks was a natural move, given the insurer’s existing relationship with Compass.
“Aviva has a long history working with, supporting, and championing independent regional brokers, and we continue to invest in our regional broking channel,” Hemming said. “We believe this extended relationship will support our growth ambition in the coming year.”
The agreement with Bravo Networks follows Aviva’s multi-year partnership deal with insurtech Zego to offer usage-based and flat-rate policies to trades and haulage fleets in the UK that operate between five and 500 vehicles through direct sales and brokers.
