Brokerage giant
Gallagher, which
revealed its phased rebranding barely a month ago, is shaking things up over at its personal and commercial lines broking business in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Brand Partners managing director James Anderson has been appointed as group managing director of Jersey-based Rossborough Insurance effective January 01, 2018. He is taking over the role from Clive de la Cour, who has headed the business for a decade and the wider Rossborough Group for five years. Next year, de la Cour becomes chairman of Rossborough.
“I’m both excited and privileged to be appointed as group managing director of Rossborough Insurance,” commented Anderson, who joined Gallagher three years ago. “It has an unrivalled presence across the Islands with a strong reputation for trust and professionalism among its clients.”
His predecessor noted: “With James’ extensive leadership experience, reputation for developing innovative insurance solutions, and his ability to develop insurance talent, he is the right person to lead Rossborough in the next stage of its development.”
Meanwhile replacing Anderson is David Birch, who currently serves as sales director for Gallagher’s banking partnerships in the UK. Part of the 90-year-old firm’s UK small business & personal lines division, Brand Partners provides tailored insurance schemes for affinity partners such as banks, retail brands, trade associations, and membership organisations.
