Insurtech firm Bought By Many has appointed experienced veterinary nurse Sarah James as veterinary relationship & technical claims manager for its pet insurance business.
In her new role, James will be responsible for working closely with practices around the UK to ensure claims are clear for both pet owners and veterinarians. Her role will also involve evaluating technical claims using her knowledge of the industry and experience with treatments.
James has six years of experience as a veterinary nurse and previously held the position of head veterinary nurse at Independent Vetcare.
In a statement, the insurer said that James brings an “unrivalled understanding of insurance claims from the vets’ side, helping Bought By Many support vets in providing the best level of care for its pet insurance customers.”
“Having dealt with Bought By Many claims while working in practise, I’ve seen first-hand how their snap claims deliver the appropriate treatment in an efficient manner,” said James “I’m looking forward to working with both vets and customers to improve this even further to ensure our pet insurance policy is delivering the kind of treatment and reassurance pet owners and pets deserve.”
