Bishopsgate Insurance Brokers has a new man in charge in the form of Jonathan Turnbull.
The former RFIB boss, who is a qualified chartered accountant with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance broking sector, has been appointed as chief executive subject to regulatory approval. He replaces Neil Pearce, who led Bishopsgate from 2017.
It is not clear why the wholesale insurance broker named a new CEO.
A Lloyd’s of London alumnus, Turnbull came onboard Bishopsgate’s parent firm The Ardonagh Group in October 2018 to serve as chief financial officer of specialty. He started his career at KPMG before working at the likes of Benfield Group and R K Carvill.
