The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has launched a new online hub dedicated to providing brokers with relevant information on Brexit and its impact on the industry.
With the prospect of a no-deal still on the table, the association launched the site to “help brokers understand where they may have exposures to a no-deal Brexit and to help with steps that may need to be taken to mitigate those where possible.”

“In the event of a no-deal Brexit, BIBA is committed to helping the insurance broker community understand how this affects them and help minimise the impact,” said BIBA. “This website is designed to provide guidance on the key areas that are likely to affect the sector and how to navigate them.”
Steve White, chief executive of BIBA, said that he hopes that the new online guide will help brokers from all firms manage potential issues arising from Brexit.
“In these uncertain times it’s important that us as a membership organisation lead the way in terms of guidance for all,” he said.
