The owner of comparethemarket.com has a new name in charge of staff.
Appointed as BGL Group’s chief people officer, and to the executive committee, Rachael Gillett is making the switch from Thomas Cook where she served as group and UK HR director. She also held the group HR director position at Guoman (Thistle) Hotels before moving on after more than two decades at the firm.
“I’m excited to be joining the team at BGL,” said Gillett. “I am keen to support the company as it builds its reputation for being a great place to work, and seeks to retain and develop the best talent. With employee engagement scores at a record high, I’ll be starting from very strong foundations.”
BGL is also behind the LesFurets.com and BeagleStreet.com brands.
