Digital distributor BGL Insurance (BGLi), which this year came under Markerstudy Group ownership, now has a managing director of distribution in the form of company stalwart Laura Mullaney (pictured).
The promoted executive has been with the business for 10 years, most recently serving as customer director. In the newly created role, Mullaney will be in charge of the growth and distribution agenda for BGLi across the firm’s strategic partnerships and own brands including Budget Insurance, Dial Direct, and Jaunt.
Joining the BGLi executive committee, the new distribution managing director will also be overseeing the company’s new business pipeline.

BGLi operates in Peterborough, Sunderland, and Wakefield and employs more than 1,700 people.
