Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has bolstered its ranks with a swoop for a former Chubb and Allianz leader.
The company has brought in Dr Frank Amandi as head of financial institutions for executive and professional lines in Germany.
“We are pleased to have Frank leading our efforts to bring our robust suite of financial lines solutions to financial institutions across Germany. His deep expertise and dedication to helping institutions address dynamic risk challenges will serve our customers well,” said Andreas Krause, Country Manager, Germany, BHSI.
His two decades in the industry includes being deputy global head of financial institutions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, as well as 10 years with Chubb in Europe. In addition, he holds a law degree from the University of Cologne.
