Bennett Christmas has created a marketing manager position within the currently expanding firm, appointing marketing veteran Helen Sundaram to the post.
The accounting and law graduate joins the independent insurance broker and underwriter after having built a successful career as a senior marketer and founding her own marketing agency. Sundaram, who has 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, will be in charge of coordinating all online and offline marketing as Bennett Christmas grows its product portfolio and integrates new services.
“This is a key appointment as the company enters a period of significant expansion,” noted chief executive Mark Bennett. “It indicates the importance the directors place on marketing the Bennett Christmas brand as we continue to build our reputation as a leading player in the independent insurance market and grow our gross written premium in line with an ambitious five-year plan.”
The new hire will be based at the Bennett Christmas headquarters in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
“My job will be to see that the Bennett Christmas brand becomes the first choice for those seeking professional, personal, reliable, bespoke advice,” said Sundaram, who becomes part of the brokerage at an “exciting time” in its development.
