The London wholesale division at Beach & Associates is the new home of JLT Re movers Gavin Johns and Richard Emson, who both offer more than three decades of industry experience.
Experts in binding authority and open market general and professional liability, the two were part of JLT Re’s facilities and binders unit. They also bring longstanding trading relationships with London and international markets to Beach.
“We are delighted to complement our existing team with another two highly experienced market practitioners,” commented John Sutton, chief executive of wholesale at the independent (re)insurance broking and advisory firm.
“The Beach wholesale division started in early 2018 and has since grown into a significant platform comprised of both up and coming young professionals as well as several more seasoned producers.”
Sutton believes adding Johns and Emson’s expertise to the unit, which is described as a key growth area for the business, will allow Beach to expand its offering.
“This is an exciting time for us,” said the wholesale CEO, “and I am extremely pleased with the quality and range of skills we continue to attract to our London team.”
