AXA UK&I’s chief executive officer, Claudio Gienal, has been named in Glassdoor’s Top CEOs list for 2021, and is the sole insurance industry CEO to be included in this edition.
The list is based on reviews submitted by past and present employees, which include several aspects of the employment experience, including sentiment towards the CEO.
According to AXA, Gienal scored an average approval rate of 97%, based on all reviews about AXA UK&I, which garnered an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars.
The recognition comes after AXA UK&I was included in two other lists earlier this year – Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work and The Times’ Top 50 Employers of Women. These honours, the company said, recognise AXA UK&I’s positive workplace culture.
“This award is testament to the inclusive, rewarding, and collaborative culture which has been fostered within the business,” said Gienal. “Although I am delighted to have been recognised personally within this list, I put this accolade down to the dedicated teams around me. I hope to continue on a path to true trust and respect between all, where employees can bring their full selves to work every day.”
