Last month it was reported that AXA Insurance was looking to snap up as many as 60 “enthusiastic, confident, and friendly people” for customer service telephony roles in Derry/Londonderry… now the insurer is running the same job posting on its AXA Northern Ireland website but with a new application closing date.
Derry Journal previously said that recruitment for the customer service representative positions was closing on May 11. So now there’s good news for interested jobseekers, as the AXA NI careers page shows they have until December 31 to submit their applications.
“Our agents are the cornerstone of our operation and we offer excellent benefits including competitive salary, performance bonus, flexible working hours, and training and development opportunities to support you in developing new skills,” said the ‘equal opportunities employer’ in its job ad.
According to Belfast Newsletter, AXA’s contact centre in Londonderry currently employs over 300 people, who are based at Springtown Centre on Northland Road.
“AXA’s recruitment drive in the North West is positive news for the area and will create valuable career opportunities in insurance,” the publication quoted Invest Northern Ireland’s Des Gartland in a new report. “The company makes an important contribution to our financial and professional services sector and this expansion is welcome news for the Northern Ireland economy.
In Northern Ireland, AXA offers car, home, young drivers, and van insurance.
