AXA Insurance has inked a new deal with CoverForYou to underwrite travel insurance policies for the online specialist firm.
“The deal is a significant milestone for the business,” said James Cottrell, managing director of Worldwide Internet Insurance Services, the parent company of CoverForYou.
“We are constantly optimising our products to meet the demands of the millennial traveller,” he added.
Cottrell said partnering with a big household brand such as AXA allows CoverForYou to expand its reach in the UK “while building on the core principles of both businesses.”
As of 2016, CoverForYou has insured more than 720,000 customers travelling overseas.
