Aventum, one of the fast-growing independent specialty (re)insurance groups, has officially moved its UK headquarters to the Monument Building in the City of London.
The new office, situated at 11 Monument Street, spans two floors and provides a space designed to cater to the needs of Aventum’s growing team and portfolio of brands. In the past four years, the company has experienced a 135% increase in headcount.
Designed with employee well-being in mind, the office features spaces for collaboration, relaxation, and innovation. It includes amenities such as an in-house coffee shop dubbed the “BEARista”, wellness and fitness facilities, and areas dedicated to coaching, mentoring, and training. The aim is to create an environment where employees can thrive and embrace Aventum’s distinct “Dare to” culture.
John Bearman, chief investment officer of Aventum, emphasised the importance of the new headquarters in reflecting the company’s ethos. “Our new office is a place that makes insurance exciting for our talented team and everyone that visits us. We were Lime Street’s best kept secret for a few years, but I think the secret’s well and truly out now. We’ve grown at an unprecedented rate over the last four years, but we’ve still only just begun,” he said.
“Each of our brands continues to attract the best talent in the market thanks to our unique ownership model, entrepreneurial culture, and a shared ambition to always do things better. It’s not by accident that we’ve been consistently recognised as one of the best places to work and our new London office reflects that.”
Aventum operates through its international re/insurance broking arm, Consilium, and its global managing general agent (MGA), Rokstone. Together, these entities provide specialised property and casualty insurance solutions globally. Aventum has 17 offices worldwide and an annual gross written premium of $1.86 billion.
