Third party managing agency Asta has appointed Lloyd’s executive Neil Griffiths to the newly created role of regulatory operations head.
Griffiths most recently served as senior manager at Lloyd’s leading the risk assurance, risk management and governance oversight functions. He was also involved in several market oversight committees.
“I am looking forward to the new challenges which the role will bring for me personally, and to playing a key role in Asta’s growth strategy,” said Griffiths, who will report to Asta COO Lorraine Harfitt.
Asta CEO Julian Tighe described Griffiths as being one of the “best and brightest in the industry” who has “first-class reputation in the market.”
“We are confident that Neil will contribute significantly to the Asta team and our continued growth,” Tighe said.
Before joining Lloyd’s in 2010, Griffiths worked for nine years at Deloitte where he was a director.
