Ben Crabtree (pictured), who came onboard AssuredPartners London as head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insurance a little over three years ago, has taken on the position of managing director.
Operating as the British arm of US broker AssuredPartners Inc., AssuredPartners London said the promotion took effect on January 1. It will see Crabtree working closely with AssuredPartners International’s leadership team.
“Ben’s breadth of experience in leadership roles within the industry made him the natural choice for this role,” commented AssuredPartners International chief executive David Heathfield when the announcement was made.
“As we grow rapidly across the UK and in Ireland, it is important that we have a leadership structure in place that allows our London office to continue its own path of growth and remain a trusted trading partner for our vast network of distribution across the United States.’’
Having specialised as a broker in the M&A insurance market since 2003, Crabtree will continue to play an active role in the success of the division he set up at AssuredPartners London in late 2019, all while being in charge of driving sustained revenue growth for the company.
