Arnott Marine has revamped and relaunched its cargo managing general agent a year after taking back the brand from brokerage giant Arthur J.
Gallagher.
The company has designed its new cargo product and related offerings around the needs of the modern independent broker to enable them to compete against larger brokers.
The product boasts £10 million line size for transit and storage, a capacity which Arnott Marine plans to increase to £50 million for storage risks.
Apart from the cargo MGA, Arnott Marine has also launched Broker Comfort and Broker Accelerator, two programmes to support independent brokers.
Arnott Marine said Broker Comfort is designed to help brokers understand and place their own business without any additional commission. It also assists with technical cover queries.
Meanwhile, Broker Accelerator is a programme wherein a broker will partner with Arnott Marine to search for new business opportunities, leveraging the capabilities of Arnott’s facilities.
Under the programme, Arnott will work with the broker in its target areas, beginning from the prospecting stage up to the phase of securing new business.
