Reinsurance provider Ariel Re, part of Argo Group International, has launched its Xuber for Reinsurers platform across its Lloyd’s and Bermuda operations. This new platform will replace all legacy systems, providing Ariel Re with a single instance platform performing end-to-end business processing and financial reporting.
The Xuber for Reinsurers platform, part of CSC, gives the company a modern and flexible architecture that integrates its underwriting, claims, accounting, and ceding functions. Xuber will enable Ariel Re to optimise its business processes and become more responsive to market demands. The company expects operating cost efficiencies, faster new product launch, enhanced data analytics due to single data model, and improved compliance from the new system.

The adoption of Xuber was made in cooperation with Deloitte as global systems implementation partner, as well as Xuber’s team of specialists. The project was implemented over a course of 18 months and covered multiple geographies, markets, and a full suite of reinsurance and direct products.
Michael Doyle, Ariel Re’s senior vice president for operations, commented: “With the implementation of Xuber, Ariel now has a world-class reinsurance platform that delivers a fully integrated, end-to-end structure allowing us to maximise processing efficiencies, analyse information and scale to support strategy across markets.
“Xuber and Deloitte both brought extensive experience in implementing software platforms, and working alongside each of them allowed us to benefit from this experience and also draw on their extensive industry knowledge.”
