Arch Insurance’s UK regional division has announced the appointment of Janine Starkie (pictured above) as Manchester branch manager, effective immediately.
In this new role, Starkie will be responsible for further strengthening regional broker partner relationships in Manchester and across the North-West. She comes to the role with a career in insurance and broking spanning 23 years.
According to her LinkedIn, Starkie previously worked as a sales manager for AXA UK, as well as an insurer relations manager for Broker Network. She has also worked previously at PowerPlace, Towergate Partnership, Groupama, and the RSA.
Starkie will report to Arch UK branch network national director Neil Peters.
“Janine is highly respected and has established incredibly strong broker relationships throughout her career. She joins Arch at a fantastic time as we continue to enhance and expand our broker proposition across the sector. She will be integral to the ongoing development of our Manchester operations and further building out our service offering for brokers across the region,” Peters said.
Elsewhere in the firm, Arch International Insurance recently promoted senior underwriter Jason Page to head of marine hull and war, succeeding the retiring Mark Watters.
