It’s official – managing general agent Arcadian Risk Capital is now authorised to operate beyond its Bermuda base following approval from British and Irish regulators.
The MGA revealed this week that it was granted the green light in August by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and the Central Bank of Ireland for the company’s London and Dublin operations, respectively.
Arcadian’s office in Ireland can be found at 69 Merrion Square, while the one in London is located at 20 Birchin Lane. The headquarters, meanwhile, is situated in the Maxwell Roberts Building in Hamilton.
“We are pleased to announce the regulatory approvals for our London and Dublin companies,” said Arcadian chief executive John Boylan.
“It marks the next stage in our strategic journey and strengthens our value proposition as a global company offering superior service in the selection and structuring of risk management insurance products.”
Arcadian specialises in general liability, professional liability, and property insurance. With regulatory nod from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, the underwriter opened its doors in January 2021.
