Legal insurance provider ARAG has appointed Doug Hunter as its new corporate account manager.
In his new role, Hunter will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s relationships with insurers, banks, building societies, and MGAs.
Hunter was most recently a commercial underwriter with Direct Line Group. He has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked for companies such as DAS, Zurich Financial Services, AIG, and RSA. He started his insurance career with SBJ Professional (now Bluefin), where he was a senior account handler.
“I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to bring in an account manager of Doug’s calibre and expertise,” commented ARAG UK sales manager Matt Warren. “He’s a great addition to the team, with experience across many different areas of the industry.”
