Apollo Insurance Brokers is now the latest member of Brokerbility's community network of independent brokers, marking a strategic move aimed at accelerating its growth plans after departing the Bravo Network.
The partnership is part of a broader trend of independent brokers aligning with networks to strengthen their market position amid evolving industry challenges.
Established in 1967, Apollo Insurance Brokers serves a range of commercial clients across the North West of England from its offices in Bury and Stockport. The firm has outlined an ambitious growth strategy, including potential acquisitions, and views its transition from the Bravo Network to Brokerbility as a step towards achieving these objectives.
Lee Caraher, managing director of Apollo Insurance Brokers, noted that Brokerbility aligns with its vision for growth while safeguarding its independence.
“Brokerbility is the ideal network partner to support us in the next phase of our growth strategy. We are an ambitious business, which is keen to grow across the North West. To help us achieve this, it is important to partner with a network, which can to help us grow our business while remaining staunchly independent. Brokerbility has a clear strategic vision, superior insurer partnerships and a strong leadership team in place which will add tremendous value to our business,” said Caraher.
Brokerbility managing director John Dunn welcomed Apollo to the network, pointing to its role in helping independent brokers achieve their growth targets.
"As the market becomes more challenging, Brokerbility has a long track record of delivering superior results for our members. That’s why we are ideally placed to support brokers of different sizes who have strong growth ambitions," said Dunn.
Brokerbility introduced a new membership framework in April 2023, dividing members into five tiers: foundation partners, core partners, growth partners, launchpad partners, and affiliate partners.
Brokerbility’s offering includes access to insurer agreements, operational efficiencies, and strategic guidance tailored to support member growth.
