Appointed as head of aviation and space to succeed Tim Slade, the new recruit brings three decades of aviation underwriting experience to the role. In his previous capacity, Jackson oversaw his division’s expansion into aviation. He also served as global head of aviation at Aspen.

Meanwhile for Mats Westerborn, managing director for HDI Global Specialty SE in Scandinavia, the key arrival will be a valuable resource in the ongoing growth of the company’s global book of aviation and space business. Westerborn’s branch is the main hub for aviation in the group.
