In his new role, Ranzetta will lead the A&H underwriting team for the Specialty Business Unit within AmTrust International. He will also oversee management of the portfolio in line with the specialty business plans to “grow a sustainable, quality and customer-focused business,” a company release said.
Ranzetta has more than 30 years of experience in the international and UK A&H markets. He joins AmTrust from Lloyd's managing agent Vibe Syndicate 5678. Prior to that, he was class underwriter, A&H at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Underwriting at Lloyd’s, Syndicate 3210. He also served as assistant vice president of UK & Ireland accident & health manager at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
In 2018, Ranzetta was elected to the Lloyd’s Market Association’s (LMA) Personal Accident Committee.
