Allianz Legal Protection’s (ALP) list of law firm partners has just become longer.
Announcing its newest after-the-event (ATE) insurance deal, ALP said it will provide the product as part of a link-up with specialist medical negligence law firm Enable Law. The latter joins the likes of EAD Solicitors, Tozers Solicitors, Lime Clinical Negligence Solicitors, and Forster Dean Solicitors.
Enable Law, which supports claimants across seven regional offices in the South of England, will not only get ALP protection for clients but also gain access to the Allianz unit’s Paid as Incurred Disbursement (PAID) model – allowing early claims for disbursement with no interest or drawdown fees.
“We are delighted to have partnered with ALP who have shown their expertise and enthusiasm to meet the needs of our business and clients,” commented Enable Law partner Rob Antrobus. “Their adaptability and collaboration to date has ensured our customers are protected with a market-leading ATE product.”
The offering provides cover against adverse costs and cost risks associated with unrecovered disbursements in litigation.
“We’re very pleased to be working with the experts at Enable Law, and their independent broker QLP,” said senior business developer Mike Wildy (pictured). “This new relationship is further evidence of how attractive our PAID facility is to the ATE market and legal industry.
“As the legal landscape continues to evolve we’re well positioned to respond and will continue to develop market-leading products and services specifically designed around the needs of our clients and business partners.”
ALP, part of Allianz Insurance Plc, offers an array of specialist legal expenses insurance via appointed solicitors, business partners, and insurers.
