Steven Stennett (pictured) has joined Allianz Trade UK & Ireland to serve as commercial director.
A trade credit insurance expert, Stennett’s credentials include more than 16 years spent at Coface after working at Atradius previously. The key hire, while thanking his most recent employer, said he is “very much looking forward” to his new role.
“With our Go 2025 strategic plan, we have a clear vision ahead,” wrote Stennett on LinkedIn. “This is reflected in our excellent results for 2022.
“I’m excited to be working with a very experienced and talented management team [at Allianz Trade UK & Ireland] and to get to know all my colleagues across the Allianz Trade and wider Allianz businesses.”
Meanwhile the credit insurer, which cited Stennett’s proven strong commercial capability, is “thrilled” to have the Institute of Credit Management and Institute of Export member onboard.
