A total of 14 university students are now under Allianz Insurance’s wing as part of its summer internship scheme for 2018 – the 10th year the nine-week programme has been offered across the UK. Pictured are the summer interns based in the Guildford head office.
“Summer internships are a fantastic way for students to gain experience while studying,” commented Jules Harrison, graduate talent manager at Allianz Insurance. “They give a real insight into the world of work, improve skills, and build confidence.
“We’re proud of all of the students who’ve taken part in the scheme over the last decade and welcome the 2018 intake to Allianz and the insurance industry.”
The summer interns get to work in business areas such as actuarial, operations, underwriting, and finance. Benefits include competitive pay and a performance assessment to consider suitability for the Allianz graduate scheme.
