Allianz Global Assistance UK has appointed Andrew Tolman as the firm’s new business development manager for corporate sales.
In his new role, Tolman will be part of a team that will develop new profitable opportunities and will work on entering new markets. He will specifically focus on the latest assistance and insurance propositions of Allianz WorldWide Partners.
Tolman will report to Phil Carr, head of business development for Allianz Global Assistance UK.
Carr said Tolman will be “invaluable” in developing the company’s offering to meet changing market needs in the future.
“Having focused on generating sales and successfully improving retention rates in his previous role, we know Andrew will quickly become an integral member of this expanding team,” Tolman said.
Tolman joins the company after working for a nearly decade at specialised international private medical insurance provider IMG.
Commenting on his appointment, Tolman said it is an exciting time to join Allianz with its current global reach.
“After almost 10 years in my previous role, I am extremely excited about this new opportunity within such an innovative and growing business, and look forward to helping take the business forward into new opportunities and new markets,” Tolman said.
